Do you convert tax figures into euro?
No. Figures are translated exactly as they appear, in the original currency. Any conversion is for you, your adviser or the receiving body to make.
English translations of foreign tax returns, assessments and tax certificates for Immigration Service Delivery, Revenue and Irish lenders.
A certified tax return translation for Ireland is a complete English version of a foreign tax return, notice of assessment or tax certificate, signed and dated by the translator. VisaDocTranslation prepares it at €19.19 per page, in euro, delivered by the next working day.
Every country's tax forms are written in a dialect of their own, and box 4a(ii) doesn't become clearer in translation unless the translator knows what it's for. Ours keep every box, code and figure in place. Our certified translation for Ireland page covers the wider requirements.

If you're using a foreign tax return as evidence and it isn't in English or Irish, yes. ISD's employment visa guidance lists personal tax statements among the evidence of work experience, and self-employed applicants often rely on tax returns to show their income.
A payslip shows a month; a tax return shows the year, which is why caseworkers like them. For self-employed applicants and sponsors, the tax return is often the main proof that business income is real. ISD asks for a full translation, so that means schedules, attachments and the tax office's acknowledgement, not just the summary figure.
Tax returns usually travel with bank statements and payslips; upload them together so names and figures match across the set.
When you claim credit for tax deducted abroad, Revenue asks for evidence of the foreign tax, such as a statement of final liability from the foreign tax authority. If that document isn't in English, a certified translation is the clearest way to present it; check with Revenue what your claim needs.
Revenue's guidance on double deduction relief is specific that a P60, a P45 or a similar document isn't a statement of final liability; it wants the foreign authority's final word on the year. That's usually an assessment notice rather than the return you filed, so check which document Revenue wants before ordering.
Ireland has double taxation agreements with many countries, and what you can claim depends on the agreement and your circumstances. We translate the documents; Revenue or a tax adviser can tell you what to claim.
A tax return is what you declared; an assessment or statement of liability is what the tax authority confirmed. Which one an Irish body wants depends on its checklist, so check first. We translate either, or both if you need both.
Many tax authorities also issue tax residence certificates, payment confirmations or e-filing receipts. These are often shorter than the return and can be exactly what's being asked for, so it's worth checking before you translate forty pages of schedules when two would do.
Whatever you send, we translate the authority's stamps, reference numbers and dates exactly, since those are what make the document verifiable.
€19.19 per page for next-working-day delivery, or €35.99 per page for rush delivery within 8 hours. Assessment notices are often one or two pages; full returns with schedules can be longer.
Every page includes the translation, the signed certification and a quality check, and each document includes 2 free revisions. Figures stay in the original currency, and form field labels are translated so a reader can see what each box represents.
Upload only the years and documents you'll submit on the quote form and you'll see the total before paying.
Often, yes. Irish lenders assessing foreign income, and ISD applications from self-employed people, may ask for foreign tax returns, and a complete certified translation is the usual way to provide them. Check each body's requirements first.
Lenders generally want the most recent years, so the timing of your translation should follow the timing of your application. If you're applying to ISD and a lender in the same year, one translation can often serve both.
If an Irish body asks for a translation from a named or sworn translator rather than a certified translation, check with it before ordering; our Irish service is a company-certified translation.

Yes. Acknowledgements, receipts and stamps from the tax authority are translated along with the return, since they show the return was actually filed.
It depends on your application and checklist. Translate the years you're submitting as evidence; if you're unsure, check the ISD guidance for your visa type before ordering.
No. Our translators produce an accurate English version of the document. For advice on Irish tax or double taxation relief, speak to Revenue or a tax adviser.
Revenue asks for evidence of foreign tax paid that it can rely on. A certified translation makes a foreign document readable, but check with Revenue what it needs for your specific claim.
Yes. Tax residence certificates are usually short and are translated in full, including the authority's stamps and reference numbers.
Standard orders are delivered by the next working day and rush orders within 8 hours. Very long returns may take a little longer, and we'll tell you before you pay if so.
