English translations of degree certificates, transcripts and mark sheets for NARIC Ireland, Irish colleges, study visas and employment visas.
A certified diploma and transcript translation for Ireland turns your foreign degree certificate, transcript or mark sheet into a complete English document that NARIC Ireland, Irish colleges and Immigration Service Delivery (ISD) can assess. VisaDocTranslation prepares it at €19.19 per page, in euro, delivered by the next working day.
Irish institutions read qualifications against the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ), a ten-level framework that takes its levels very seriously. Before anyone can place your degree on it, they need to read every module, grade and credit in English. Our certified translation for Ireland page covers the wider requirements.

Only if your qualification isn't covered by NARIC Ireland's database or you need individual advice. When you request recognition advice, NARIC Ireland asks for official translations of your parchment and of your transcript or list of subjects into English or Irish.
NARIC Ireland, run by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), publishes free comparability statements for many foreign qualifications, setting each against an award type and level on the NFQ. If yours is listed, download the statement first; you may not need anything translated at all, which is the best news this page has to offer.
If it isn't listed, the request for advice needs your certificates and transcripts plus translations. NARIC Ireland doesn't translate subject names or other details itself, so the translation has to be complete and consistent: course titles, grading scale, credits and the award title exactly as they appear.
If your transcripts or certificates aren't in English or Irish, yes. ISD's study visa guidance asks for evidence that you can follow your chosen course, such as previous exam results or qualifications, and any document not in English or Irish needs a full certified translation.
ISD also asks you to account for any gaps since your last period of full-time education, so the dates on your transcripts and certificates matter as much as the grades. Your college may ask for translations at the admissions stage too, often before ISD sees anything; one certified translation can usually serve both.
If you're also showing funds, our page on bank statement translation for Ireland covers the finance side of a study visa.
NARIC Ireland, Irish colleges and universities, ISD for study and employment visas, and professional regulators that register people qualified abroad. Each sets its own rules, so check the exact format your body asks for.
Regulators such as the Teaching Council, CORU and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland run their own recognition processes and may ask for more than a translation, such as documents sent directly by your university. We provide the translation; the regulator's checklist decides the rest.
For employment visas, ISD lists professional and training certificates among the evidence of qualifications and work experience, alongside payslips and employer letters.
€19.19 per page with next-working-day delivery, or €35.99 per page for rush delivery within 8 hours. A degree certificate is usually one page; transcripts vary with the length of the course.
Every page includes the translation, the signed certification and a quality check, and each document includes 2 free revisions. Transcripts are where page counts creep: a four-year degree with module descriptions can run long, while a one-page summary transcript stays one page. Upload what you plan to submit on the quote form and you'll see the total before paying.
If course names are already translated on your diploma supplement, tell us and we'll keep our terminology consistent with it.
No. A certified translation reproduces your grades exactly as issued, with the original grading scale. Comparing them with Irish grades is a job for NARIC Ireland or the receiving institution, not the translator.
A translator who 'helpfully' turns a 4.5 into a 2.1 has stopped translating and started assessing, and no Irish admissions office will thank them for it. We translate the grading key where the document includes one and leave the comparison to the people whose job it is.
Applying for a job at the same time? Payslips and employment letters often travel with qualifications in the same application.

Often, yes. If your university issues an official English-language transcript or diploma supplement, Irish bodies generally accept it without a separate translation. Check with the body you're applying to.
No. The translation is a faithful English version of your document. NARIC Ireland or the receiving institution decides how it compares with Irish qualifications.
ISD's long-stay study visa guidance asks for a full certified translation of any document not in English or Irish. Some older or school-specific guidance mentions notarised translations, so check the checklist you're working from.
Yes. Diploma supplements, mark sheets, module lists and grading keys are translated in full, along with stamps and signatures.
Yes. Upload the diploma with any apostille or verification stamp attached and we translate everything on it in the same order.
