A sworn degree and transcript translation into Bulgarian is a Bulgarian-language version of your UK certificates and academic records, signed by a sworn translator (заклет преводач). The main reader is usually NACID (НАЦИД), the National Centre for Information and Documentation, which handles recognition of foreign higher education in Bulgaria.
We translate degree certificates, transcripts and diploma supplements at £40.00 per page, delivered within 2 working days. Work-permit files often add employment documents too.
Bulgaria
Usually, yes. Recognising a UK degree through NACID or a Bulgarian university, or using it for a regulated profession or work permit, generally needs the documents translated into Bulgarian. Check the current requirements of the institution handling your case.
Recognition matters if you want to practise a regulated profession, continue to a Bulgarian master's or doctorate, or meet a qualification condition for a permit. NACID and universities set out which documents they want, and those lists are worth reading twice: a transcript is often required alongside the certificate, and the diploma supplement, if you have one, rarely hurts.
Degree certificates, transcripts, Higher Education Achievement Reports (HEAR), diploma supplements, A-level and GCSE certificates, and professional qualification certificates.
Secondary-school qualifications are usually recognised by the regional education departments rather than NACID; the translation works the same way either way.
Faithfully, as they appear: a "2:1" or "Upper Second Class Honours" is translated, not converted into a Bulgarian grade. Converting grades is the recognising body's job.
A UK transcript can be a long table of module codes, credits and percentages. Every row is translated, codes included, so the recognising body can check it against the original line by line. A First-Class Honours degree stays first-class in any alphabet.
£40.00 per page for a digital PDF, charged in pounds sterling, delivered within 2 working days. A degree certificate is usually one page; transcripts vary with the number of modules.
Upload everything you've been asked for on the online quote form to see the total. Every document includes 2 free revisions. Whether your degree certificate needs an apostille first depends on the institution, so ask them; our apostille translation page explains how the two fit together. Want it on paper too? Tick the signed paper copy at checkout: the translator prints it, signs it in ink and posts it by Royal Mail the next working day after your PDF, for £3.00 to a UK address or £8.00 anywhere else (one fee per order). Delivery times are Royal Mail's, not guaranteed.

No. Grades are translated as they appear. Conversion is done by the recognising body.
Often, yes. Check the recognising body's list; transcripts are commonly required.
It depends on the institution. Ask them first; if it does, get the apostille before ordering so it is translated too.
